I am not sore today, not in the least, in fact I feel quite good… very bizarre considering my muscles felt like they were seizing up on the run yesterday. I did a good stretch but fully expected to be sore today.
Bonus.

You feel no pain because you are getting the iron legs of the marathoner. ;o) I still never stretch, I wonder if that will bite me one day?

Really?!!! I really force myself to because I do feel like my legs are lead-like if I don’t- you don’t stretch at all afterwards?

No, I never stretch, before or after. I put on my running clothes (which consists mostly of worn out non-technical items such as a 10 year old pair of soccer shorts. I find this is one of the benefits of running on the East Side in the AM when it’s still dark, there is no pressure to dress well! Ironically, I run past the Lululemon HQ almost every morning.) then I just step outside and start running. I may have to start stretching when the distances get longer, like this coming Saturday when I do 9 miles.

What are your next 3 long runs? (the 4th week being the 1/2 non?!!)

9, 10, 7, 12 (but instead of the 12 I’ll be doing the 1/2 so I’ll run 13.1 if all goes well!)
